Refund, Cancellation and Transfer Policy

Alignment Academy LLC - Arizona insurance continuing education courses

Alignment Academy LLC ("Alignment Academy," "we") offers Arizona insurance continuing education (CE) courses as online self-study through our Thinkific school, Alignment Academy (www.mymeaningfulfew.com), and as live classroom and live webinar courses. This policy applies to every course fee a student pays us. It is published on our website and at checkout, and students see it before they register. Every course format below includes a cash refund option.

1. Self-study (online) courses

  • Full refund: Request a refund within 30 calendar days of purchase. If you have not started the final exam and no certificate of completion has been issued, you receive a full refund of the course fee.
  • Packages and bundles: If you bought several courses together, we refund each course whose final exam you have not started, in proportion to the price you paid for the package.
  • Technical problems on our side: If a problem with our platform keeps you from finishing the course or the exam, we will reset your access or exam, or give you a full refund, whichever you choose.
  • After the exam is started: Once you have started the final exam, or a certificate of completion has been issued, the fee for that course is not refundable, except as stated in Section 3.

2. Live classroom and webinar courses: cancellation by the student

  • Early cancellation: Cancel 7 or more calendar days before the course starts: full refund, or a free transfer to another session.
  • Late cancellation: Cancel fewer than 7 calendar days before the course starts: refund of the course fee minus a $25 administrative fee, or a free transfer to a session that starts within 6 months.
  • Substitutions: Another person may take your seat at no charge at any time before the course starts. They must register with their own name and Arizona license number.
  • No-shows and incomplete attendance: Arizona rules do not allow CE credit for partial attendance. For webinars, credit also requires responding to the engagement checks and returning a completed Affidavit of Webinar Attendance. If you do not attend, leave early, or do not meet these requirements, you may transfer once, at no charge, to a future session of the same course within 6 months, or you may request a 50% refund within 7 calendar days after the course date.

3. Cancellations and changes by Alignment Academy

  • Cancelled or changed courses (100% refund): If we cancel or postpone a live course, or change its date, start time, location or format, you receive a full refund with no fees deducted, or a free transfer if you prefer. We notify registered students by email as soon as the change is known, and we refund automatically: you do not need to ask.
  • Webinar failures: If a live webinar cannot be completed because of a technical failure on our side, we treat it as a cancellation by us.
  • Course approval: A course may be advertised as "approval pending" before Arizona approves it. If the course is not approved, is approved for fewer credit hours than advertised, or loses its approval before you complete it, you may request a full refund. If we stop offering a self-study course before you finish it, you receive a full refund.

4. How to request a refund

  • How to ask: Email [email protected] with the subject line "Refund Request." Include your name, the course title and format, your purchase date or session date, and your order or receipt number. You may also call (602) 935-5383 or write to the address below.
  • Acknowledgment: We confirm receipt within 2 business days.
  • Processing time: Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 14 calendar days of your request, or of our cancellation notice. Your bank or card issuer may take a few more days to post the credit.
  • Transfers: Transfer credits can be used for any session that starts within 6 months of the original course date.
